So, Shaya and the AIA 12U team participated in the Mid America Challenge in Champaign, IL on May 17-18, 2008. They were playing some pretty good teams, and ended up 1-3 for the weekend. I was disappointed to see they did not have a summary of who won on the website (maybe it will eventually be put up??), but they did have All-Star teams from each pool listed. The team was third in their pool of 4, but they still had two girls make the all-star team (Jadda Buckley and Shaya Kellogg)! Only one other team in their pool had two girls make the all-star team - and it was the Panthers Sports Club, to which they lost.
Next up for Shaya - the Battle of the Hardwood in Woodbury, MN on May 31 - June 1.
