All Iowa Attack had a good tournament in Minnesota, winning the North Tartan Meltdown Tournament with a victory over the MN North Tartan Coury Elite team in overtime, 64-58. The team played well, hit some key shots, and had some important defensive stops. Shaya had a strong game, ending with 28 points, including 5/6 for 3's, and 11/12 from the free throw line. AIA won an earlier July game against the North Tartan in Ames. You can view the final tournament results at www.northtartan.com.
The team won their 3 games at Battle on the Plains in Kansas City today (Thursday) and are on their way tonight to North Augusta, SC for the Nike Nationals Tournament.
