IBCA Red was in the White Division for this tournament, along with some of the premiere teams in the country. Their first match-up was against the Alabama Roadrunners Navy, 57-68. The lid seemed to be on the bucket in this game, as nothing was going in from the outside.
After that, the team had four straight wins, against Legends Blue (70-58), KC Select White (46-36), WBA Lady Knicks 16 (can't find the score on this one), and finally Mile Hi Magic Black (53-38). The team ended up 17th place (no pool play, only brackets) but had a great weekend. I will post some links from this tourney soon, as well.
Next up is Lincoln, NE for the Adidas Battle on the Plains tourney (for IBCA and Kionna), July 22-24, and that is it for the summer basketball season for both girls!
