On Friday night the girls played Waukee and came away with a win. Kionna had been doing pretty well with the back injury - but did back into a table during class and had to ice and medicate before the game. She looked stiff to start, but still played smart. She missed a couple buckets, but was 4-6 for the night (did not have a lot of touches), had 8 rebounds, 5 steals, and 4 blocked shots. We were just really glad she was able to play and was okay.
Trisha (our point guard) made 5-10 FG attempts, went to the line successfully making 11 of 12 freethrows, and had a great night.

Next up is Fort Dodge at Fort Dodge on Friday, and then a good test as we travel to #2 ranked Sioux City North on Saturday.
