The win on Saturday evening was a big one! The girls struggled in the first half, at one point down by as many as 12. But they refused to let it go, though, and worked their way back in the third and fourth quarter - with the teams tied at 34 for what seemed like an eternity! The work paid off, and they were able to get a lead of 5 points, and pull off the win!
Kionna had a great game - she had 15 points, was 5-10 FG% (making 5-6 from the FT line), and had 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. Just about as good as it gets!

So far this season, Kionna has had 6 double-double games (points and rebounds)!
Up next, the girls face Waukee at Waukee on Friday (bound to be a VERY tough game), and then Mason City at home on Saturday.
