So the Ames High Little Cyclone Girls Basketball team is out to a pretty good start at 7-0 this season. They have had a couple close games where they held it together and came out on top, and some blow-outs, too.
Shaya is having a good season so far, averaging around 11 points per game, 8 rebounds per game and almost 3 assists per game. The team is playing some good defense, and many players have really stepped up this season. The starters are a great group, and hopefully, this team will continue to improve as the seasons moves forward.
They will have another tough couple of contests in Waukee at home this Friday, and Valley at Valley (West Des Moines) next Tuesday.
