The AHS girls played Mason City on Saturday (a make-up game from a prior weather postponement). The night before, the game vs. Fort Dodge was cancelled (postponed?) due to weather.
The Mason City win did not look very pretty. We seemed to lack intensity on both ends, and were chucking up airballs, missed layups, and losing people on defense - in a way that is not characteristic of the team. Despite the 20 point win, we did not look great.
Kionna had 15 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. But it might have been her ugliest game so far this season. Hopefully, they shake it off and come back stronger against SE Polk tomorrow night. They will certainly need to be charged up for the game against Valley at Valley on Friday night!
