Shaya and the 13U All Iowa Attack team had another tourney this weekend in the Des Moines and Ankeny area. She played very well - getting much more consistent on her inside moves, outside shooting, ball handling, and overall game. We love watching her implement new things as a result of the need to do this --- like bringing the ball up the floor in the press break, and dribbling behind the back because defense cuts off the cross over. It was a great weekend, and they walked away champions, so even better.
This week - Mon- Wed, the girls are both at the MN Elite Camp. Things are going well (getting reports periodically). They come home Wed night and back to Mpls on Friday night as they both participate in the MN Summer Jam this weekend. And then we really get rolling with the Dakota Showcase the following weekend, and our cross country travels on July 4th through the 14th.
